  • Am I required to make my property available to Section 8?

    While there is no law that requires properties to be made available to Section 8, we determine whether we accept a tenant or not based on their overall application and not on where their income comes from.
  • Are you licensed?

    Property Management Inc is owned by a Licensed Real Estate Agent in Kansas. We also have employees who are licensed Real Estate Agents in Oklahoma.
  • Can I reach you after hours?

    The office is open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday. We do have agents and after hours coverage for emergencies.
  • Can you put the money directly into my account?

    Yes, we offer direct deposit which is the most convenient and fastest way to get your funds.
  • Do I get to see the lease or sign it?

    Leases are signed by Property Management Inc staff.
  • Do you sell real estate too?

    Property Management Inc rents office space from American Homes Realty Inc. American Homes Realty Inc. is a full service real estate company.
  • How and when do I get my checks?

    Owner statements and funds are processed and sent out prior to the 15th of each month. Electronic deposits should be available on or before the 15th.
  • How is rent collection handled?

    Property Management Inc. provides a tenant portal allowing tenants to make payments online. In person payments are accepted at 1307 W 11th, Coffeyville. KS. 67337
  • How long of a lease do you sign?

    Standard lease period for new leases is 1 year.
  • How much security deposit do you charge the tenant?

    Kansas state law limits what deposits can be collected from a tenant. For unfurnished rentals the maximum allowed security deposit is 1 months rent. Pet deposit is limited to no more than one-half month’s rent.
  • How soon can you start managing my property?

    A year from now you will wish you had started today.
  • What type of properties do you manage?

    We have an assortment of multifamily and single family rentals that we manage.
  • What type of reports do I get and how often?

    Shortly after your monthly funds are deposited a monthly statement will be provided.
  • Who holds the tenant security deposit?

    Security deposits are held by Property Management Inc in a separate account from Company funds.
